Tell me who you are and what interests you about Tern Island. Seeing your comments helps me write about areas of interest that seem common and everyday to me. I will only put your comments on the blog if you tell me it is OK.
Hi Gary, it is always okay to put my comments on your blog unless you find them unfit for public light! How's your cooking coming along? Have you managed to swap chores with other inmates/ volunteers? Do others there have blogs we should be reading to get another perspective? How is your study plot coming along? Do you have a lot of chick or egg mortality--I would expect so? What is the population breakdown by species in the plot or do you have that info? Just curious. I do really like your photos. Very good. Here? Just reread A River Runs Through It and the other stories in that book; very enjoyable ---again. Also read A Spot of Bother by Haddon the guy who wrote The Curious Incident of the Dog At Midnight. That was good but not stunning. Stay well, John V
My formal education is in biology but I spent nearly all of my working life in other fields.I spent 10 years as a California State Park Ranger and nearly 25 years teaching elementary school. My wife of many years, my grown children, and my Dad have been supportive of my volunteer activities on the edge of the planet
