- My formal education is in biology but I spent nearly all of my working life in other fields.I spent 10 years as a California State Park Ranger and nearly 25 years teaching elementary school. My wife of many years, my grown children, and my Dad have been supportive of my volunteer activities on the edge of the planet

What a gorgeous bird, so regal. It was great to see the pictures of your accomodations, and get a mental picture of where you live. There certainly is a large library. Anything interesting to read, or do you not have enough time?
